'It is necessary to learn to navigate in an ocean of uncertainties through archipelagos of certainties.' Edgar Morin.
The objective here is to share with you my work in both an individual capacity and in collaboration with other researchers in the areas of ethics, governance and societal impacts of AI technology. This is where you will find information about research, publications and projects in which I am involved.
The TERA logo refers to research on Ethical Leadership which began during my doctoral studies. It means Towards Ethical Responsibility and Authenticity (TERA). The stylized image of a dandelion reflects the aim pursued: to sow ethics everywhere so that each dandelion parachute can find fertile soil ready to invest in an ethical trajectory. Each parachute does not germinate immediately; they may lie dormant for a while, waiting for the right environment in which to bloom. The same goes for ethics. Conditions must be met – a favorable culture – which facilitate this trajectory. This metaphor of the dandelion and its little parachutes that scatter at every turn reflects my scientific approach.
